I found this wonderful post at Wanda’s Creating Abundant Lifestyles blog and just had to share it here.
Taking Law of Attraction to an even grander scale, Wanda shows us how to add “rocket fuel” to our intentions by considering who that desire would benefit and that got me to thinking: “okay, if I’m manifesting wealth in my life, how does that benefit others?”
And the answer was suddenly clear as a bell. If I’m seeking to manifest wealth in my life, its likely because I want to use that wealth for some other purpose. Think about it: we don’t typically visualize a healthy cash flow just for the green itself. No, no, no… its usually because we want to put that money to use, whether its to pay off our credit card bills (a nice idea after this shopping season), fund a retirement account or to use Wanda’s example, rent a vacation home in Florida.
And while those desires might sound a bit selfish at first, all of them also benefit a whole host of other people as well. Paying off your credit cards would certainly make the credit card companies happy and perhaps with the larger cash flow, their employees would get bonuses and raises. Fund a retirement account and you’re investing your money in outside ventures which means a positive boost to their stock or a healthier bottom line.
And if you read Wanda’s post, you’ll see that even that vacation home would benefit a long list of anonymous people, making your “selfish” intention very generous indeed.
I love this idea. It can be hard to focus our intentions when we think we’re being greedy but using this technique, you’re instantly spreading the wealth. Yes, you’ll still benefit from manifesting your desires but you’re also helping a number of other people along the way. And that’s the abundance of the Universe in a nutshell.
What a perfect way to practice the Law of Attraction. Thanks, Wanda! ![]()
